SCAD World School (CBSE)

Our Environment

We at SCAD World School are lucky to have our campus situated in an area which has enabled Coimbatore as the Wind City. We are surrounded by the Western Ghats to the North and South west. To the West is the Palghat Gap, the only major pass in the long stretch of the ghats abutting Tamil Nadu and Kerala. This place enjoys a very pleasant climate all the year round, aided by the fresh breeze that flows through the 25 kms long palakad gap. The wind that flows through the Palghat Gap serves as source of alternate wind energy, and you will find an 10 square kilometer belt is dotted with wind mills and wind farms.

Considering the fact that 70% of our campus area is open space, we are planning the land usage for long term sustainability.

Each classroom at SCAD World School has a minimum area of 200 square feet. Keeping our learners in mind, every classroom is innovatively and thoughtfully designed with the latest technological aids.

Classrooms are equipped with projectors, e-boards and computers. Each classroom is designed to have maximum student strength of 20.

Small class numbers for bigger focus:SCAD World School is a co-educational, residential (with day/week and term-boarding facilities) school. When we grow to full strength, our maximum strength (from Nursery to Grade 12) will be 1500 students and 150 teachers. The maximum class size would be 20 for Elementary, Middle and High School. Our student/faculty ratio would not exceed 15:1.
